Tianjin University Press

Tianjin University Press, established in 1985, is a key university press affiliated to the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. In the process of reform and development of more than 30 years, the press has always adhered to the fundamental tenet of serving the university teaching and scientific research, sticking to the thought clew of publishing fine products and creating characteristics, increasing benefits and seeking development and has established a strong publishing team and author team based on Tianjin University, in line with the publishing goal of providing high quality spiritual products for readers. Tianjin University Press has rich experience in publishing teaching materials in colleges and universities, and has published a large number of excellent academic books and teaching materials and supplementary books around the advantages of chemical industry, precision instruments, automation, machinery and materials. By the end of 2016, the press had published over 5747 kinds of books. Among them, 7 books have won the National Book Award nominations, 7 books have won the National Excellent Science and Technology Book Award, and 6 books have been selected as the National Key Planning Teaching Materials.

Tianjin University Press is one of the few university publishing companies, which has all kinds of qualifications, such as paper book publishing, electronic audio and video publishing, and network publishing. At the same time, it also has the qualification of book distribution and digital printing. Since 2002, the press has been actively exploring the direction of digital publishing, and has been working in many fields, such as digital publishing and digital publications research, to cooperate with many laboratories and software R & D companies. In March 2015, the press approved the "first batch of traditional publishing and digitalization transformation demonstration units in Tianjin". In May 2015, we approved the "professional digital content resource knowledge service mode pilot unit". In July 2015, it was approved by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, "the second batch of digital publishing transformation demonstration units".
